Come and join Caroline Hope demonstrating how to make Scones from her home in London. Learn the practical techniques that will make your results light and fluffy time after time. There is no right or wrong recipe. However an understanding of why you perform certain actions at each stage of this quick and easy food is important. Once that is mastered you are in charge. You will be ready to adapt and create your own flavours and variations.
Caroline will provide ideas of different flavours and her recommended favourites. Whilst they cook in the oven for about 10 minutes she will discuss what a scone is, what it is not, and how it evolved over the years. She will also give you ideas about serving them and explain its place in a Cream Tea.
You will receive detailed Scone recipe before the class so you can make notes as the demonstration progresses. there will also be an invitation to contact Caroline after the demonstration class in which you can address any questions or discuss problems that you might have encountered during the demonstration.
